Hi

How can we require a space before the smiley?

We are having problems, with that text gets replaced by smileys.

For example if you write "sometext:s", then we have a smiley code for :s which replaces the :s with a smiley image.

We would like to require a space before the smiley code, so this won't happen.
I tried to edit the smiley code to " :s", but that didn't help.

Any ideas?

I don't think you can. You may just have to make sure your smilie code is not something that will get used elsewhere.
