Limit use of Forum or Category based on user rank

Anyone know how I can limit the use of certain categories or forums in my board based on user rank.

For example, to set things up so that a member who has fewer than 100 posts can not post in a particular section.

The Forum Manager and Forum Permissions sections in the admin panel do not seem to allow me to get this specific.

There are two ways you could do this... add a promotion to the usergroup or you can try this mod. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=201285

Using usergroup permissions is really the best way. Then create a usergroup promotion based on rank which adds user to secondary usergroup tht has higher level permissions when special rank s reached.
