User Banning not working
I banned a part of an AOL IP as a wildcard and then removed it but now people on AOL cannot login to our site. I turned off all the banning options under User Banning Options and still it does not let them login. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Setting Enable Banning Options to No should do it. Have you checked some of these users accounts to see if something else happened to them (were they put into a banned usergroup)?

I set it to no and none of the users were moved but it still is not working. I even changed the .htaccess so I am at a loss at this point.

Changed the .htaccess? Why are you changing that? And from what to what?

Well, I'm not sure why this isn't working for you. Perhaps try disabling your plugins and see if it works then.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php PHP Code:

You clearing your cookies won't do anything for other users. Those users must clear their cookies.
