hello please help me out

after server migration everything is fine but attachments are not working... giving following error

Warning: fopen(./attachments/1/2581.attach) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in [path]/attachment.php on line 277

can anybody help please ?

Check the permissions on the attachment folder.

which persmissions to give ?? to attachments ? 755 or 777 ?
