How Do I Disable User Ranks ?

How Do I Disable User Ranks ?

I've deleted all ranks in admincp > ranks manager and have delete all images in my web directory but now they show up on the site as a broken image.

Can anyone help ?

Did yo run maintenance > update counters > update user titles & ranks after you did that?
