how do i space the buttons evenly across the navbar? because there all off to the left

It's hard to tell without looking at your navbar template but...

Look for this code:

<!-- nav buttons bar -->
<div class="tborder" style="padding:$stylevar[cellspacing]px; border-top-width:0px">

Replace it with:

<!-- nav buttons bar -->
<div class="tborder" style="padding:$stylevar[cellspacing]px; border-top-width:0px" align="center">

the nav buttons are in the header on this skin...i will give that code a try and if needed i will post the code for the header...thank u for taking the time to help me

well i looked in navbar and the code is not there...i looked in the header and i found <!-- nav buttons bar --> but nothing else that looks like the code u gave me
