problem after upgraded to 3.7.5

well support staff from vb.vom told me to come here and ask for help. after i upgraded to 3.7.5 i been gettign these errors, i disable ALL PLUGINS manually, even used the disable_hooks true; code on the config.php file and i still get the error when i use the quick reply box sometimes a box popsup to downlaod newreply.php file but mostly i get a junk of xml code on the browser here is a video of the issue

Looks like a corrupted file or possibly a database table. Did you try uploading or reuploading your 3.7.5 files? I know sometimes FTP doesn't always do what you expect. You might want to run the maintenance database utilities to analyze/repair the database but I think it might be a file corruption.

i did the db thing, i try to re-rup the files, i might try it with a different ftp client thought.

edit: well i tried uploading it wiht a diff ftp client, problem fixed for a min.. but than it returned, vb.com told me might be server problem perhaps? not sure i recompiled apache so idk.. try updating php version perhaps?

If the site is prompting you to download the php file instead of parsing it, you compiled apache & php incorrectly.

1. make sure that apache is configured to load the php5 module
2. make sure apache has the necessary addtype set.

Also, make sure as this will happen in FF, clear your cache and restart FF browser.

but this happen AFTER i upgraded to 3.7.5 none of this problems happen before.. so it cant be apache unless this new vb requiers latest [h[5 ver :/ but why does it display a chunk of code?

I was only referring to your quoted post above, typically popping up a box to dl the php file is a compiling issue.

As to the junk xml code, thats a different matter.

1. try a default vbulletin style and see if the xml issue resolves itself.

2. nuke all the vbulletin files and make sure that you are uploading the php/xml files in ASCII mode and not in binary.
