Is this possible? Or a mod that can do it?
Some of my users want to see post counts, as I have them hidden for now (commented out). But some of the users don't want the postcounts shown.. The ones that post the most don't want to know/see/show how much they post I think.. ![]() So having them 'off' by default and an option for the user to turn them on would be ideal I think. Thank you for any help on this matter ![]() |

I made a User Profile Field and have users set it to yes or no whether they want to see the post counts. Then I just put a condition around the post count in the postbit(_legacy) template based on the profile field.

Oh gosh that sounds SO obvious now! And so simple! Although I didn't really know about the custom profile fields bit.. Thanks so much, and a 3 minute reply! <3

It doesn't seem to work lol ![]() <if condition="$post['field5']" == 1"> $vbphrase[posts]: $post[posts] <else /> test </if> All I ever see is 'test'. Even tried: <if condition="$post['field5']" == Yes"> <if condition="$user['field5']" == 1"> <if condition="$user['field5']" == Yes"> Any ideas? ![]() --------------- Added [DATE]1231465850[/DATE] at [TIME]1231465850[/TIME] --------------- My mistake, you didn't need the quotes around field5. Thanks again! |
