Default Activation Usergroup
Hello everyone. I have a question that should be very easy for many of you to answer...hopefully. I have created a usergroup that I want activated members to be placed in upon activating their new membership. By default, when a user clicks the activation link they are placed in the "Registered Users" usergroup. I want members to be placed in another usergroup after they click the activation link from the email. How do I do this?
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated |

Set the permissions of the registered users group to those that you prefer the new users to have. Move existing members to another usergroup if required.

Right, I know how to do that but doing that involves too much work. I actually found a product that allows me to changes the default registration group. I am just waiting for someone to register now so I can test it
Thanks for your response though. |

No it doesn't. It does not involve much work at all, in fact it would be better because you will not get any modification incompatibilities by using default vBulletin features.
