I have a new forum I just installed on subdomain 1.mysite.com.
I also have an existing forum running on 2.mysite.com The new forum is having some problems with its directory structure. When I go into a user profile, I see that many of the icons/images are missing. It was easy to see why when I tried loading the images into a new window.... they are all pointing to the wrong URL!! So... my vbulletin is loading: 1.mysite.com/members/images/statusicon/user_offline.gif instead of: 1.mysite.com/images/statusicon/user_offline.gif Where is this URL formed in the software or configuration and how can I make sure "members" isn't being improperly injected into my URL?? Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks in advance. PS: The existing forum does *not* have this problem... this problem is only with this new forum I set up. |

Find 'Image Paths' They are all located in relative positions by default, so I'm guessing you'll just have to remove the 'members/' from the start of each of the lines. |

Thanks for the ideas, but I wasn't able to get it to stop with either one of them.
My image paths (as suggested to check by Bellardia, were all normal. They were paths like /images, etc... they did not contain "members" anywhere in them. Also, I was no able to find where the forumdisplay and forumhome templates would set this information. (Sorry... ) Any additional tips on that? Somewhere, "members" is being incorrectly injected into my URL. I'm using vB 3.7 patch 1. Everything else seems to be working. I am also using the default template that comes with vB... there are no template mods or even custom templates on this fresh installation yet. Any other ideas??? I'm really stuck here because I don't understand where vB forms it URLs. This is the point where the badly injected "members" string is injected. Also, could it be Apache? Thanks. |
