I am trying to access some form of left behind license key, user (customer) key, or find some sort of authentication i could use to authorize that their key is valid, then to generate a key of my own.

I plan on using each installations vBulletin license-specific data for encryption,
any help is appreciated.

The cookie salt is the license number. However, this value can be easily changed.

You can never be sure a license-id is valid, only Jelsoft can verify that.
