Top Thanked Members
I'd like to have a box that shows the top thanked members on my site (top 10 say) on forumhome or in a sidebar.
It's based off this modification: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=165673 |

If you have questions/problems with a modification or style, then please post in the thread (or support forum/board) about that modification/style. Best chance to receive a reply from either the author or another member using the same modification/style.

Ummm I don't have a question or problem with the hack. This is separate. I want to display the top 10 thanked users on my forumhome.

Well only those who know the modification will know how it is stored, how it can be retrieved, etc..
This information is not standard vB info, so a vB user who is not using that modification can not help you. |

I understand what you are saying but I always figured this section was for modifications period. Not just for the core vBulletin.
Anyone that can code vBulletin should be able to easily do this. It could be released as a separate modification as well. I have asked in the thread but no response. I figured I'd go here too. |

Sure this forum is for modifications, but it is for modifying existing vbulletin code that any of us can look at and help out with. We have no idea what table or column the values you want are in. So, if you want our help with that, you will need to give us that information - the table structure and how it ties into other vb tables we may need to join with. If you don't know that information, the you will have to post in the modification thread for help with it.

Jeez, you people would be better off just not replying to his thread at all then to come in and reply with an automated message like a robot. It's no wonder why this site has been slipping for many years. It's obvious that this is a separate request for an add on of another product, and nine times out of ten the author or supporting members will not fulfill his request due to the number of replies in the hack thread.
Brent, from what I can tell the thanks are stored in the users table. The field name is "post_thanks_user_amount". So a query like this should do the trick. PHP Code:
