Hey there i have my cookie time out setting to 1100. As my users complain when they go inactive they have to log back in. I would set it higher but it effects the whos onlin as well.

IS there a way to make it so you ca nset it so usergroups can override the cookie log out time.

Or a way to stop the whos online display from going by the cookie timeout?

Try telling your users to check the Remember Me box when they login. My guess is the problem will go away if they do that.
