Installing New Templates = Messed up Mods?

Well I have tons of edited template mods, so If i install a new mod will it completely screw up my mods?

Plus, does anyone think the regular vbulletin style looks ugly? I think its ok..

No, it shouldn't. The thing that might happen is if the modification has automatic template edits, they may fail as you've modified the templates.
