Multiple Skins and Hacks
I have just purchased my first skin and tested it out on my tester forum. I noticed a lot of templates needed to be redone and wondered what the best way was to have multiple skins on a forum?
Do you make ONE parent style and add all skins underneath? The skins would probably not be selectable by user at this point. I'm also wondering for future updates if having a parent style is what will work or do I have to change each template per style? I'm green to the whole skin business so any and all suggestions are most welcome! |

In your Styles and Templates Manager check/uncheck whether you want other to use the style or not. Quote:

Yup, I have ONE parent style and child the rest. Then I revert any of the custom child ones (with the exception of some of the headers/footers).
