Registration Question

The way I have my forums set up, I have Registered Members who've had more than 60 posts. I want to set it up to where newbies, when they join, don't automatically become regular members but enter a custom group called "Newbie Drone." How can I set that up like that? Basically this is about setting up certain posting parameters for new members.

Why not configure the default usergroup to the settings that you wish for the "Newbie Drone", then create another usergroup post-count based set with the permission you'd like for Registered Users.
