The style is unique - it's hotness really: simple & sleek.
On thing that would make the skin look more professional IMO - the tcat should be solid throughout:

It's a subtle difference, but one that will make the skin more solid I think.

Very good though - now only need content.

definently need a small space between the categories, and blend the mariners text on the end like adonis showed.

Other than that it looks pretty good,!

I would fix the title and remove the "powered by vb" and the footer is to long in firefox..
not bad overall 4/5
