I think photoshop could do something like that But if you don't have photoshop because of the cost, then Gimp is a free program that does near enough everything photoshop does take a look here

thanks for the quick reply, but i think you misunderstood. i do have fotoshop and know how to fade pictures... but i mean the swapping of the pictures. it's like a slideshow, but fades from one picture to another. it must be some kind of script, looks like a flash animation but it's just pictures.
