Image Resizers are the Common Varible on high server load threads
Wow Do a search for Image Resizer and you will find a long list of threads from webmasters complaining of high server load and listing there mods and the Image Resizer is the only thing they all have in common just looked for 2 hours .
I have been fighting server spikes for a few days after installing the nCode Image Resizer , I have been up one side of the hill and down the other and finally think ive pin pointed the issue and it was caused by the Image Resizer . I really like this feature , how can i keep the forums from busting out of shape when a big photo is posted w/ using server intensive client scripts? java Scripts? or what ever . And im on a VPS running the latest php and mysql , my Server is awesome so theres nothing to blame there |

I don't quite understand how a javascript image resizer like ncode can add to server load as all the resizing is done on client's computer.
