Optional Options for a custom BBCode
I have been programming in various forms for quite some time, but new with vB. I wanted to write a simple BB code for a forum and seem to be running into a probelm with the Use Option setting. I want my users to be able to pass in an option or not pass in an option. I have been searching for a while and cannot seem to find an answer so I thought I would ask.
Thanks in advance! EDIT: I suppose I should mention that I currently have two versions of the same tag one with options enabled and one without. So to clarify my question would be to find out if there is an easier way, or if this is the standard practice. |

You are going about it the right way - two bbcodes both using the same tag only one has the {option} enabled and the other doesn't.
