Who is online - Buddies first

For registered and logged in users I don't want a "who is online" which is just a total of all logged in members. I want to show buddies first and then the rest ... perhaps in different lines.
Anyone uses this?

Is there really no other script? It doesn't help to define buddies, when they can't be seen on the front page
