I was wondering is it possible to have the postbit alternate between posts

aka

post 1 all details on left column
post 2 all on right
post 3 back on left, etc?

I would guess you could write a plugin to do that. It shouldn't be too hard, I wouldn't think. Just look at the plugin for always making the first post use a certain postbit and modify it.

by using a few old 3.5 tutorials and an alternative post condtional
