Sports Force Interactive

My website Sports Force Interactive is a website and vbulletin board, built up to create an Australian Sports Network.

It is a website that I have been working on for about 18 months, and it has suffered many setbacks, in Febuary 2008 we switched from phpbb forums to vbulletin (one of the best decisions I have made), this is a website that we do not plan to monetize, however we do accept donations and paid subscriptions inwhich all money will stay within the forum to help improve it (and get custom jobs done).

There are not many members involved in the site yet as we plan to officially launch the website in the new year, however are slowly getting the name out and advertising now to prepare for the official launch.

I would like to invite, and will appreciate, any and all members, coders, developers, here at vbulletin.org to take a look at the forums (branded The Pavilion Forums) and share with me any thoughts, ideas or suggestions inwhich you believe could improve my forums before the official launch.

• Forum homepage still looks a bit stock.
• I'd suggest replacing the following image to match your theme, as it stuck out right at me as default: http://pavilion.sports-force.net.au/...bits_start.gif
• Get some nice content up that will win over more members
• Why not have a more sporty/catchy design?
• If you're going to keep this one, I'd suggest extending the header 100%, as the white space on either side of the header is a bit unappealing.

The banner would be better as an image map to the various forums

I can help him there, I attached some darker images for the navbits an your collapse images. Either zipped or individual, but they have transparent as is.

Extended header I know what he means, but adding blue background color might be easier since it's a fluid width. I did mouse over the header image to see if those where image mapped links. I think that style could work for the site if it had more content that people went there for. Funny I searched with live search at the few top sited have vbulletin with defualt images including forum icons. I think if you replace the rest of those defualt images to match your site, then you work on SEO an finding traffic an you'll be fine.

I would like to thank you guys for your input, this is one of the reasons i love coming to this website, although i love hacks/mods is the community spirit there to help others out, suggest ways of improving each others communities.

Geo-Logist - In regards to getting a more sports looking theme - I have paid 3 different people both on here and other websites to create a Sports Orientated theme for me however non have delivered so far and now its time to try to get the finances up again to try and have another crack at getting the skin done again.

I am currently working on getting alot more sports orientated content on there and hope to have that coming within the next few weeks.

Thanks for the images Action-N I am about to upload them and hopefully they will look better.
