Changing the colour of the editor (solved!)
Hi everyone.
I'm trying to change the colour of the terrible grey editor box thingy (the bit around the edge where the buttons and the smilies are, not the actual space you type in) as I want to make it green to match my site and forum. I've seen one person do it on here: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...=editor+colour (as you see, his entire editor is blue). I've rummaged around in my templates and come across a handful of them that pertain to the editor. Can anyone tell me which template(s) I need to edit and perhaps give me an example of the code I should replace and what I should replace it with? Thanks! EDIT: Just to say, I know you can edit bits from the style manager, but that doesn't help me to change the colour of the entire bit around the edge, only the buttons and drop down menus. --------------- Added [DATE]1225548558[/DATE] at [TIME]1225548558[/TIME] --------------- Well heck, I worked it out myself. For future reference, anyone who wants to do this should do the following: 1. Search in your templates for the editor_css template. 2. Find this section and put in the text I have highlighted in bold to replace what was there before (obviously change the hex for your own colour): .vBulletin_editor { background: {#336633[0]}; padding: $stylevar[cellpadding]px; And you're done! |
