Allow Multiple Accounts to use Same Email Address
I have a vbulletin install which I integrate to my main site and I run a process to load vbulletin users as they are created on the main site.
I require screen names to be unique, but allow multiple accounts to have the same email address. This is because parents often set up accounts for their children and the children may either not have an address of their own or the parents want to keep an eye on what the child is doing on the site. When I try to load the users to the vbulletin site I get an error if the email is already associated with a user. I can't find a setting in vbulletin to turn this constraint off. So I am wondering if it's there and I just can't find it and/or is there a mod that will remove this constraint? Thanks for any help. --------------- Added [DATE]1224858298[/DATE] at [TIME]1224858298[/TIME] --------------- nevermind, like an idiot I finally found it just after hitting submit. Thanks! This thread can be locked and/or deleted by a mod. |

Allowing duplicate email addresses will probably cause you a lot of problems on the long run.
