Can we just delete the install directory? It tells us to only delete the install.php, but I don't feel too safe with it just lying around on the server.

you can, but if you ever need to use anything in the tools folder, you'll need to reupload a few of the files.

yes you are safe to delete install directory. Though you can prefer keeping the four .XML files.
Or if you wish to keep all files you can .htaccess <deny from all> that directory.

Thanks guys. I've always deleted install.php, init.php, and upgrade.php, but didn't know if I could delete the whole thing. Again, thanks.
