What is truly the best free seo mod i can install with little to no htaccess editing . When it asks me to edit htaccess do i just upload the htaccess file they have in the folder?

these are the best free way to seo your forum that i used and my ranks are high.

for the number 1 part vbseo, i dont use the htaccess file at all. Something in that file was causing my robots.txt file with errors when googles was crawling my page so i got rid of it and used a standard robots.txt

No you dont, there is a option at the top of the sitemap that show the option for on/off for vbseo
