Removing New Posts Icons
I would like to remove the column on the front page that has the New Posts icons in it. I can't seem to find anything in the Admin CP that will let me do this, so I'm guessing one needs to edit a template.
If anyone can give me instructions on how to do this for 3.7, I would greatly appreciate it. |

Kinda.
I see there are four forumhome_forumbit files. What exactly am I removing from these templates to remove the New Posts column from my forums? |

There is a table column (<td>) for the New Posts icon in all those templates. In the _nopost templates, you will have to change the number of columns from 6 to 5, 5 to 4 and 4 to 3 and then in the _post templates, you will have to remove the column with the status_icon (from the <td> to the </td> tag). I *think* that will do it, but if I were you I'd try it on a copy of your style first.

That kinda worked. But as you can see from the screenshot below, the forum name is scrunched up in the far left box, and they don't align with the text in the row above them (ie: the Last Post is listed under Forum, etc.)

Then change the percent allocated to each of the columns.
