i installed my database and all the files over to my brand new host, when i put the forum back, all the user names and threads where there but when i attempt to login, it sends meback to the index.php page not logged in.

any ideas how to fix this?

If you cannot log in at all, upload tools.php from the do_not_upload folder. Then reset your cookie path and domain.
