Alignment help
Hi there.
I am having this problem: Attachment 87801 This is a screenshot of my forumhome. Obviously something is screwed on the tables but i can not find what it is. If you want me to add the forumhome code please tell me. Thanks in advance. |

Nothing is screwed up in your tables, it's just that you have separated each of those areas into separate tables and the text inside the boxes decides how each of the columns line up in the tables and it's not the same for each table. You can try to specify the width in the columns and see if that helps, but sometimes the text will 'stretch' the column if allowed to.

Thanks Do you think if i put it all in a table that might solve the issue?

If you leave it default (like it is on vb.com), then you won't have the issue. You modified the way the forums are listed, and the modification split them into separate tables and that is why that is happening.

Understood what you are saying
The solution is to statically put dimensions for the cells? Thanks again! |

Hmmm, well, the ultimate solution is to put it back to the default way Jelsoft does it - where all the forums are listed in a single table. That forces all the columns to be the same width. You may try setting the width in your separate tables to be all the same, however sometimes they will still be a little off - if you look carefully at the forumdisplay on here, even they are off by just a little bit. (But, close enough for me which is why I do it similarly on my site.)
