Usergroup permissions
On my vb forum I can easily set forum viewing permissions for logged in users but I have a few forums that i want visible to the public without them needing to register and log in. I set the usergroup permissions to say can view forum and threads but They still can not view If they click on the forum header it makes them sign in . What am I doing wrong?

Take a look under Forums & Moderators > Forum Permissions > find the forum > find the usergroup > Edit > take a look at the permissions there.

How about a screen cap of the forum permission for the unregistered usergroup for one of the forums he should be able to get into? (Can View Others' Threads is set to Yes, right?)
Something else to check is if a modification is causing the problem. Try disabling your plugins and see if you still have this problem. Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php PHP Code:
