How do I increase the total space allowed for all Albums?
I'm running vB 3.7.2.
I want to allow our members to store more than just 1GB of photos in all their albums (total) but, we seem to be limited to 1GB. I tried adjusting the totals in the vBulletin Options>User Profile Options:Albums but, it didn't do anything. I changed the number of albums to display in a Users profile increasing it to 100. I also increase the Maximum number of pictures per album to 1000 and then to 10000 when that didn't do anything. I even tried "0" which is supposed to mean "unlimited" but, nothing changed when I went to look at my albums. Then, I saw the note about the settings in User Groups and found the settings for User Group Albums and reset some of them higher too. That didn't help either. I set Album Picture Maximum File Size (bytes) to 20000 and Maximum Total File Size of Album Pictures to 1000000 just to see if that would change anything. It didn't. What I am trying to do is to give each member a larger total storage space for their pictures. That's one reason we are moving from our old forum platform is to get more storage space. I'm thinking of just bagging the vBulletin Albums and using PhotoPost instead. I have unlimited storage space on our hosting server and want to utilize that but, the vBulletin Albums don't seem to make it easy for me to do. Also, I don't like how the vB Albums do not allow you to show a GROUP index of albums in one place (although I did just find a Mod/Hack that will allow me to do that). Any help would be appreciated. BTW, we do not store our pics in the db. We moved them to a fileshare storage method. Thanks in advance, Joe Zulaski |
