How to enable a message to be e-mailed to me if i subscribe to a topic
hello fellow humans
1) i would please like to know how i can get the "entire message" e-mailed to me if i subscribe to a thread, e.g. if someone replies to a thread that i am subscribed to, the entire contents of that reply are emailed to me. 2) i am hosting my vbulletin on netfirms.com, i don't know if any of you are familiar with them. the vbulletin is taking about 3 days before it sends out an e-mail. this is quite annoying. how do i change it so that any email it sends out is instantaneous. should i enable smtp email? i am using a simple forum hosted on netfirms.com and it works like a charm, any submission is processed and e-mailed within 2 seconds. so i don't know why there's a delay when vbulletin is using the built-in "post" function for email submission? 3) how do i hack vbulletin so that i can see an unlimited number of threads on a page? |

1) This is already the default. Check your 'notify' phrase in the Email Body Phrasegroup
2) Best is to ask your host about this, they can check the maillogs to see what is going on. 3) You can set the number of threads displayed in your vBulletin Options. There is no option for 'unlimited'. (Would also not be very wise from a performence perspective). |
