Can anyone help me out i have been hacked by a guy called ' zAx '

Is your database gone? Do you have a backup? Exactly what was hacked? Can you be a bit more descriptive.

Change passwords to FTP, MySQL, Host Panel...
Restore the most recent copy of the database and make sure the contents of files is correct:
AdminCP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

Contact the hosting and tell them about the situation.

seems its only forum home that has been hacked i can still get into admin/cp is there any hope for me

Apparently he only obtained admincp, Ill work with you in getting it back up.

Sorted now thanks for the offers of help it was vey much appreciated

Upgraded to latest version & changed passwords is there any other safegaurds i can put in place to try and protect the board

vBulletin is safe. You should uninstall the unnecessary modifications and better protect your server.
