Some of my users have problems with their notifications. Sometimes they will get a Visitor Message read it and it will still say 1 Notification. Anyone know how to fix this?

Does the status clear itself after a few minutes? For example when you read it, wait a few minutes does it go away? I have experienced this on several large forums.
