Download ability based on number of posts.

I searched the forums and could not find a mod, script or hack that would accomplish this.. but we have alot of files on the site that would be of interest to our target member group and the forum is just starting out.

I was wondering if there is a way to make the downloading of files a reward based system.. Ie.. you get one file download for every 10 posts etc... or be able to assign a post value (cost in number of posts) to particular downloads based upon there value..... business plans, start up projections in excell format etc.... give some carrots but not the whole cake... motivating them to post in order to download the higher value files...

Anybody know of a mod like this, or maybe I'm a dumbass and this is already an option in the admincp... any guidance or help would be much appreciated...

You could probably use the promotion system and usergroups to achieve a very basic version of what you are trying to accomplish.

Otherwise, it sounds like you are asking for a custom modification...
