Best / most valuable?

There seems to be 1000's of mods/hacks to vb boards, I just wondered what you guys feel are the vital ones? What had the biggest impact on making your board more successful and members happy?

I've started with a new board, about 4000 members and 250k posts but really want to push the forum community further.
