I was wondering if it is possible so that any time an Admin posts a thread, it would be a different color font than a member without using BB Code. I have BB Color Code disabled on my board, but I want the admin's font color to be different than a regular members so that there is some difference between the two.
I don't know if that made any sense, I'm having trouble explaining it. |

I think you can just put a conditional in your postbit (or postbit_legacy) post that if the user is an admin to add some css to color the text. This won't make the quoted text colored however.

Hmmm, would I put it in the postbit or the showthread?

Well, in the postbit (or postbit_legacy), you could do something like this in the message area. This makes the text green for all admin posts (they are in usergroup 6):
Code:
<!-- message -->
<if condition="is_member_of($post,6)">
<div id="post_message_$post[postid]" style="color:green;">$post[message]</div>
<else />
<div id="post_message_$post[postid]">$post[message]</div>
</if>
<!-- / message -->
