time out error adding Multiple games · **Released**: 08-01-2008

I get this error when i tell the system to install all games..

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/derek/public_html/arcade/functions/tar.php on line 748

I have tried dropping the games in the tar folder to 20 new games still it times out..

How can i resolve this...

I am trying to add nearly 1000 games and cannot do them all individually...

I find that happens when I have a game that is actually corrupt..

Yes if a tar file is corrupt or not uploaded 100% it will timeout when trying to install games

I was getting same problem, so i did a multi unzip on all the tar files i had just uploaded, indeed 1 of them was corrupt, so i removed it.
Still timing out on me tho, i am now in the process of singly adding 200 games to see if ibp has found an error in one of the archives that did extract.

Edit: decided it was easier to try and re upload the tar files and manually skip over exact duplicates , and bingo one of the uploads was incomplete. After fixing it install all is back to normal.
