Hello mates,

The search field/button on the drop-down menu of my forums currently has a white trim around it:

I would like to remove the white trim around the input field/button so that it looks this instead:

I've look all around the Style Manager and I can't find the option to change it. Is there an Extra CSS Attribute I could use? Where would it go?

Is this the only place the field looks like that? In your picture, you need to go to the navbar template (found in Navigation / Breadcrumb templates) and search for the search input textbox.

When you find it, add in class="bginput" and it should take away the ugly default border and put in the input CSS settings you have in the Style Options.

I just noticed that other input boxes, such as the Title box for new threads, also contains this white border. Do you think I could just make a fix in the Style Options, Extra CSS Attributes box for Input Fields?

Concerning your suggestion, I'm looking for that, but I'm still learning how to read the code.

Well, hmm... it looks like it's already like that. This is the line you were looking for:

Okay, well what I'm thinking is that in the Style Options you didn't put a border around your input fields. If you don't know how, I'll tell you:
Go to Style Options. Scroll down until you see Input Fields, Buttons, and <select> Menus. In the Extra CSS boxes beside these put in this string: border: 1px solid #HEXCODE

I think this may work. If you've already done this, then I can't help. :-/ Let me know if it works.
