Anti-SPAM: Duplicate PM's cause moderation of PM's

As spammers do not only use open forum, but also private messages to spam forum members, a solution for this is needed. Since most spam messages from the same account are identical, this can be solved by letting duplicate PM messages cause all PM's from the account go into moderation.

Yeh and the restriction should be usergroup defined so for staff it wouldn't apply And the number of duplicate messages that it would take to be put into moderation. (as one or two may be harmless)

Wow - this is a great idea. Perhaps it should temporarily suspend private message and posting privileges of said member until a moderator approves the original PM that a duplicate was made of.

Also, if this were made for posts to, that would be spectacular! Most spammers are bots anyhow - even manual spammers usually copy n' paste their message. This would stop them dead in their tracks and prevent them from causing anymore spam until a moderator approves their message.
