Under "Search Index Maximum Word Length" what's the best value for performance?

If you are still using the buildin vBulletin search engine, then for performence a higher value is better (but might not be usefull anymore).

If you are using hte MySQL fulltext search then this setting is ignored.

Anyway.... Just make sure you don't set the value too high, otherwise you will have a useless search feature.
