Exclude an user from 'Todays Posts'
Hello,
Is it possible to exclude posts written by specyfic user from 'Todays Posts' list? For example I have user like 'RSS Bot' , that is getting several post per day, but I really don't want to have it take up half of the 'Todays Posts' results since the topics are irrelevant my site. Thanks! |

You may exclude a forum easily, but I'm not sure about excluding a user (unless you actually make a plugin and add to the query - I suppose that would work).

You can make it so it excludes the are where the posts are being made.
Here is a site that does it: http://lockoutgaming.net/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=173,174,175,176,177,178 |

Looking at the search.php page, it doesn't look to be that easy. I'm not that familiar with the search code, so I'm not even gonna guess at it. It would be much easier if you had your RSSPosterBot put all his threads into a single forum and then just exclude the forum from the search.
