Hi there,

I have tried searching but the term I think is too broad.

I was looking for a hack that allows a user to bookmark a thread? Not the same as subscribing to it, but just kind of marking it as a reference thread?

phpBB3 has this and it is really helpful.

That is just what subscribing does.

Alternative would be for the user to add the link to his browsers favourites.

I was thinking subscribing mean getting all emails for replies.

You can set if you want to receive email updates or not when subscribing to a thread.
