The one i knew translated to something like:

33 people from Trente, went to Trente, and all 33 people from Trente where riding horseback.

In italian (writing phonetic, so please don't mind the spelling )

Trentetre trentini andore a trente, tutti trentetre trentini trottelerando.

(or something like that, learned the sentence 25 years ago)

Yes, I did many years ago But I don't think learning that was high on my list of priorities at the time. I think the female portion of your population was, if I remember correctly.

Nope, just was there on a holiday 25 year ago and was hanging out with a group of italian kids. They spend almost the entire holiday teaching me this 1 sentence and i can't get it out of my mind anymore since.

(But in the end i could say it faster without errors then the italian guys teaching me )
