Social Bookmarking Doesn't Display
I've enabled Social Bookmarking that comes with the vbulletin installation. But, because I'm using a custom skin (I think) it's not showing up. How do I go about manually changing the code to display it?
Here's the link to my forum: http://forums.aspiemania.us Thanks in advance, Andy... |

Compare the default template with your one, (either by adding a default style and doing it manually or using the "Template History" (the latter is available on the Edit Template page.) Comparing Templates

That doesn't really help me because I don't know what template I should be looking at. Wouldn't it be easier to provide the code I have to copy/paste into and where to place it?

vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments
Else, you need to contact the author of your skin and request an update. |

I still don't understand. What code do I need to add to which template?

I can't tell you off the top of my head, you have to compare the old and the new templates. It is the responsibility of the author to ensure that their custom skin works with a new version.
Enabling the aforementioned option will let you see the template names in the HTML source of the vBulletin page. You can hopefully use this to narrow down which templates you need to edit/update, then you can use the "Comparing Templates" link I provided in my original post to see the differences between your skin and the default version. If we were to provide code to every person that asked for it we would be here for days trying to help people and nobody would learn these things for themselves, unfortunately you have to work these things out yourself. |

But I don't understand how comparing the templates is going to work. Because some of the templates were considered customized and different from the default even when it was first installed.

The template history will include the default vB 3.7 template from which you should be able to compare.
