I am looking for a modification that limits users to view forums based upon their age. I don't know how hard this would be or if it has been made, but I think this would be great. Any suggestions?

Can you handle this in groups? Set a group for the 18+ and when they prove their age you add them to the group.

there is an add-on made by Cyb ... check on 3.7.x modifications ...
