Adding Custom Profile Fields into Thread?

How do I add a users custom profile fields into the screen that has the users message on it? ie/. right next to Join Date, Number of Posts?

ie. want a user to enter his car type during registration, then be able to show that next to their posts?

Is this possible?

Lastly, also have a custom profile filed that is the "number of years", and would like to add up all of the users number of years to have a "sum" of the number of years of experience to be include in my community statistics...
