I dont know if i should ask here or .com, but I figured someone here might know.

I had a vb license about a year ago or so, and it was a leased license. Its long since expired but I kept a backup of an old board.

I want to buy an owned license in a couple of weeks when I get paid, but I don't want to have to start over from scratch simply because of licensing issues.

Is it possible to upgrade/renew my old leased license to an owned?

a leased license have to be renewed completely when expired... it's like starting over... but you do not have to delete your board, just replace the files.

thats what I wanted to avoid, since there are modified files, but I dont remember which ones now.

though if you do not want to upgrade, you do not have to replace the files... just renew your license...
