Is there any way to auto-insert a bbcode around sigs?

Is there any relatively easy way to insert a bbcode (specifically, the show/hide spoiler code) around signatures? I mean, so that this happens automatically - not on the user end.

(And by relatively easy I mean, template modifications - I'm too scared to mess with the code.)

Probably not, but I thought I'd take a shot at it. Thanks for your time in reading this.
